Maesil (Korean green plum) concentrate from Hongssangri, the Gwangyang farm run by Korea's nationally designated maesil master Hong Ssang-ri. Whole Korean plums (70%) are layered with fructooligosaccharide and aged the traditional way, then bottled as a thick, tart-sweet syrup you dilute to taste.
- Mix 1 part concentrate with 5 parts cold or hot water (about 20 ml + 100 ml) for maesil-cha; best served chilled or over ice
- Also works as a base for cocktails and sodas, or in salad dressings and sweet-and-sour sauces
- Korean plum 70%, fructooligosaccharide 25%, plum concentrate (70 Brix) 3%, sugar 2%; no artificial flavor listed
